White Shatter

Hey Girlies,
I've been pretty busy this week so haven't had a lot of time for nail painting. I got to do them quickly yesterday

Milani Jewel FX and 3D Holographic

Last night I tried out four of my new Milani polishes; Cyberspace, Hi-Res, FX Gold and FX Silver. I like how the holo-ness  of Cyberspace and Hi-Res is quite subtle. Sometimes it looks like a simple glitter polish but when the light hits it right the holo that has everyone in the blog world buzzing shines through. Love it!

These photos were taken with flash at night. It was sunny today but I ran out of time to take photos. Next I added an accent nail using Milani Jewel FX.

They're so shiny!! It also came out surprisingly smooth, even before I put Seche Vite on.
Today I found a Kleancolor mini collection. 6 polishes packed full of glitter!!

From the left: Black Out, V.I.P and Kiss Goodbye
From left: Grand Finale, 24 Carat and Peaceful Heart
Each bottle is 5ml which I think is a good amount because there is no way I'm ever going to use a full size 15ml bottle.
That's all for today. Hope everyone is having a good week

Epic Nail Mail

Good Morning everyone! It is snowing here!! It never snows. It is so exciting. And to make a good day better my order from Beauty Joint arrived. I have been waiting for almost three weeks for it to come.

EXCITING!! I can't wait to try them all out!

I was going to take a photo of the package but I got too excited

Here is Milani Digital, Cyberspace and Hi-Res. These are my first Milanis
Milani Jewel FX Gold and Silver. I wish I had got Gems as well now.
Kleancolor Chunky Holo Purple and Chunky Holo Black.
All the polishes were so reasonably priced. It was the postage that was the killer. The Milanis were $3.75 and the Kleancolors were $1.75 but postage was $12.64!! and then there was the exchange rate.
I would really like not to go to uni today so I can stay home and play with my polishes =)

Can't Get Enough

Hey everyone, hopefully everyone is having a good weekend.
I am rarely able to just have a solid colour on my nails. If I do, it has to be exceptional or I'll get bored. I had "One Less Lonely Glitter" on solid for a day and a half haha then added some stamping.

My New Favourite Nail Polish

I got to try out my Nicole by OPI "One Less Lonely Glitter" today. It seems impossible but it is even more amazing on the nail than it is in the bottle!!

Pretty pretty pretty pretty pretty!!!
That is all!

Yay!

Just a short message today; I was in town today in between lectures and I found a polish that has been on my wishlist for a while now. Nicole by OPI "One Less Lonely Glitter"!! YAY it is so pretty and from what I can tell by looking at it in the bottle it is a purple version of OPI "Teenage Dream". I haven't had a chance to try it out yet due to a busy day and I have work soon but I will most likely try it out tonight after work if I'm not too tired. Yay, I'm so happy I found it. It was in a little pharmacy that I've never been to and they had a lot of OPIs and Nicoles that aren't in the usual places I look so I will defo be going back soon!

Here's a photo of the bottle I found on google.

Red Argyle

I did some more stamping tonight after work. I still have so many images and plates I haven't tried yet and it is sometimes hard to chose which image to use. Today I used Born Pretty plate M60 and OPI Bogota Blackberry.

Sci-fi Nails Continued

I did end up doing some stamping over yesterday's mani. Check it out

I got a little frustrated towards the end and ended up with two nails that don't have stamping on my right hand because the stamp just wouldn't work well for me anymore and it was late and I wanted to go to bed.
I used tape on a diagonal across the nail to create the sharp line. It worked heaps better using tape this time then it did the first time I used it. I'm not very patient and put the tape on before the polish was completely dry, although I thought it was. Long story short; it wasn't pretty =P

Sci-fi Nails

I'm sorry for the lack of posting this week. I started back at uni on Monday and it's been a busy week getting back into the routine. I wore my dot mani for five days! It lasted really well, only some minor chips and tip wear.
When I was painting the colour I'm showing you today I had every intention of doing some stamping over the top but it really didn't need it!! It can stand all by itself and look awesome. It reminds me of robots in a way. Wanna know what it is yet?! Okay, here it is....

Here is Sally Hansen "Celeb City". The ring finger is the most colour accurate.

Out Damn'd Spot

Today I wanted to share what happened when I attacked my nails with my dotting tools that arrived in the mail on Saturday

I started with two coats of OPI "Dating a Royal". This polish is a royal blue creme and covers perfectly in two coats.

For the spots I used Essie "Mint Candy Apple", Essie "Nice is Nice" and Orly "Lemonade".

Flower Power

Hey all, I've been lacking inspiration lately and would appreciate it if you have any ideas for designs I could do or if there is something you would like to see more of on here please let me know and I'll do my best to oblige =)

Last night I used Orly "Fancy Fuchsia" with some stamping

 Two coats of Fancy Fuchsia

I stamped using one of my new plates that arrived in the mail yesterday morning from Born Pretty. I got 16 faux Konad plates and 5 dotting tools. This plate is M60.

Nail Mail

I got some more nail mail this morning. First of all, OPI "I Lily Love You" (aka my new favourite polish) and Essie "Nice is Nice"

About a month ago I ordered a $5 mystery bag from a website I haven't used before and this morning it FINALLY arrived. To be honest, I'm not that impressed.
Oh the flash is a bit extreme in that photo whoops. So in the pack I got a yuck brown colour called "Walnut" and a slightly nicer brown called "Latte", 2 matte top coats and one top coat which leaked all over the box it came in and was subsequently half empty. Disappointed!
It did come with this bag too that I wasn't expecting.

Here is two coats of Essie "Nice is Nice". It's a very pretty pastel lilac.

One coat of "I Lily Love You" and then some stamping using konad plate M63
"I Lily Love You" looks awesome with a matte coat over the top! I didn't manage to get a photo of that though

Shatter-a-thon

Well ever since I saw that OPI was coming out with more shatter colours I had this need to collect them all even though I probably wouldn't use them all. Well today I completed my collection. All 7 OPI shatters. Black, Silver, Red, Blue, Turquoise, Navy and White. Black and silver have kind of been done to death in the blog world so today I'll only show the last five.

My camera really doesn't like taking photos of the blue and turquoise shatter. All are on a base of BYS Matte White except for the the thumb which is Australis Sin City.

This shot is more colour accurate of the blue. The turquoise is so pretty but I cannot get a good photo no matter how hard I try

Shattered Glass

July already!? Where is this year going?! Tie sure goes fast when there is lots to do.
Since my newest bundle monster plates arrived weeks and weeks ago I've been meaning to use BM208 and I finally got around to it today. I also managed to use my newest OPI colour in the process.

The base is two coats of OPI "Bright Lights-Big Colour"

I'm now waiting on three different nail mails to arrive! One of them is more stamping plates from Born Pretty =D I can't wait to get my hands on them! (sorry for the bad pun =P)
